Do I need a Zoom account as a student?

Zoom is an online meeting space used for the Live Online Classrooms taking place.  It allows students to join in on a class session and collaborate with other students and faculty as done in a traditional classroom.
You will learn more about Zoom in Foundations (F-FM501/401).

You do not need a Zoom account (although it is free) to participate in the Zoom meetings for your classes.  You can simply access the classroom's Moodle page and access the Zoom Meeting ID Number on the page (normally placed at the top of the Moodle page).

To make sure that you have the connectivity to be able to join in on the Zoom class meetings, you can test out your Zoom connectivity from any device.  Click here to access the Zoom connectivity tester page: https://zoom.us/test
